ZAGARA - Thomas Henry Of West Seneca, NY, January 16, 2023. It is with a heavy heart that I announce the passing of my beloved father, Thomas Henry Zagara. He was a generous and charitable man who loved passionately. A true family man, he protected his loved ones zealously. He was a righteous man, and a champion for the working class, serving as a union steward before he retired. Thomas was an aspiring author, and crafted a yet-to-be-published screenplay. He was a kind, compassionate man, and he will live in our hearts forever. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Katherine Zagara; son and daughter-in-law, Thomas F. and Angelique Zagara; daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Robert Hernandez; son-in-law, Jacob Schrimmel; grandchildren, Joaquin and Jude Zagara, Adrianna and Lucian Schrimmel, Bobby and Joey Hernandez; aunt, Rosie (Pralow) Cortright; brother and sister-in-law, John and Marie Zagara; sister-in-law, Ellen Zagara; brother-in-law, Richard (Dick) Nigro; and many loving nephews, nieces and cousins.
