ABRASZEK - Thaddeus Michael "Ted" "Teddy" Of South Buffalo, NY, January 8, 2025. Loving husband of Laura A. (Osuch) Abraszek; dearest father of Rebecca A. (Porterfield) Abraszek, Rachel M. (Andrew) Abraszek-Sandoval, James M. Abraszek, Sarah L. (fiance, Matthew Nappo) Abraszek, Hannah R. (Alex) Villegas and Ariel A. Abraszek; adored grandfather of Adeline and Caspian Villegas, Andrew "Drew" Sandoval and Declan Nappo; son of Ronald and Eileen; also survived by many loving fur-babies. Teddy was an adventurous spirit, always on the move for the next new or exciting thing to bring his family to. Whether it was a fishing trip where he would put bait on the hook for all of us and take the fish off if we caught one, to drive-ins, traveling to different states for dinner or donuts, simply to visit animals at the SPCA and pet stores just because he loved animals and wished he could save them all, to traveling to all different amusement parks walking his family around the whole park dozens of times, checking out every mall and store he could that was within a days trip. There was so much adventure in his life and so much he shared with his family. He has filled Genesee Country Museum, Rock City Park, Old Fort Niagara, Pennsylvania, and so many other places with beautiful and unforgettable memories. In addition to adventure, Ted was a true family man and the most dependable and resilient man our family has known. If you ever needed a quick 'pick-me-up', he would offer a poor (but always comical) dad-joke and a helping hand, or simply pop on Planet of the Apes, Star Trek or Star Wars to spend the whole day sitting in silence with you or his personal favorite, he would take you to enjoy the Mongolian Buffet with him. His love and concern for his family was always the forefront of his mind, no matter if it was rides, wanting to get out of town, emergencies of all sorts, being present for all sorts of events, like driving down to Texas to watch his daughter graduate Air-Force Bootcamp or attending all of his kids sporting or musical events, anything, and Teddy was there helping or supporting with everything he had. Anyone who got to know him loved him and exchanged laughs and smiles. He was the patriarch of the Abraszek family and will be sorely missed for the rest of this life until we see him again.
