NELSON - Susan Lynn (nee Burke) April 8, 1958 - June 10, 2025 Susan Lynn (Burke) Nelson, at age 67, of Buffalo, NY, passed away peacefully June 10, 2025, in her home surrounded by friends and family. Susan was born in Buffalo, NY and graduated from the University of Texas with a degree in Business Administration. Susan left an enduring legacy in all the places life took her, leaving lifelong friendships stretching from New York to Texas to Alabama and beyond. She is perhaps best known to many for the family restaurant, Pas'ghettis, which she owned and operated in Rainbow City, Alabama for more than a decade. Susan is survived by her husband, Glenn; daughter, Lindsey (Will); son, Austin (Sara); her two grandchildren, Evelyn and Simone; her four brothers and two sisters, and too many nieces and nephews to list. Susan was a joy to be around and loved laughter and sunshine. She was a devoted wife, a proud mother, and a friend and cheerleader to anyone lucky enough to have crossed paths with her. She lifted up those around her and had a smile that brightened up any room. Per her wishes, Susan will be cremated and spread on a warm, sunny beach in a private ceremony.
