BROWN - Sue (nee Woltz) July 11, 1943 - August 7, 2025 Sue (Woltz) Brown, at age 82, of Buffalo, NY, passed away on August 7, 2025. Born in Buffalo, NY, on July 11, 1943. She graduated from Kensington High School and attended Erie Community College before beginning her family and starting a long career, most of it spent at the Buffalo and Batavia VA Medical Centers. Sue was a devoted mother of Lisa (David) Kane and Karen Brown; grandmother of Ava Kane (Steven Horowitz); step-grandmother of William Kinsman; daughter of the late Charles H. and Laura (Buchanan) Woltz. She also leaves friendships of many decades. Sue was predeceased by her sister, Margaret Woltz. One of her favorite places was Crystal Beach, where she spent her childhood summers and later purchased a cottage so her family could enjoy the beautiful location and make their own lifelong memories. Sue also enjoyed time at a cabin in Orangeville, NY, that was shared with friends and family. A lifelong animal lover, Sue had many beloved pets, most recently rescue cats, Toby and Harley. She loved to travel and took her family on many memorable vacations. As vice president of her sister's travel agency, she traveled around the globe. Sue also had a sharp financial mind and a notable instinct for real estate and was praised by her family for her insight in these areas. Sue will be remembered for her tenacity, her independence, and her dedication and generosity to those she loved. No prior visitation, per the request of Sue, no services will be held.
