BEARD - Shirley A. (nee Pittinger) SHIRLEY A. BEARD, formally of YORK, PA, passed away on April 12, 2021, at Hospice Buffalo. All that had the pleasure of knowing her, knew that she lived a life full of GRACE, GOODNESS, JOY, COMPASSION AND LOVE. She was born in York, Pa. on April 29, 1935, to the late John J. Pittinger and Carrie L. (Allison) Pittinger Einsig. After graduating from William Penn High School, she attended secretarial school and then worked for Caterpillar of York. After retiring from Country Meadows of York, she moved to Orchard Park, NY, to be close to her family. She leaves behind her loving daughter, Cindy Christman (Chris Pardi) and four adoring grandchildren, Anna, Noah, Beau and Leo. An intimate memorial service will be held by the family.
