MORT - Sheri I. (nee Robertson) Passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at 78. She was married to Rev. Wayne A. Mort, pastor of the Batavia First United Methodist Church for 56 years. Surviving are her daughters; Stephanie (Christopher) Buwalda and Stacie (James) Maddox; and five grandchildren, Catalin, Evonne, Lillian, Gabriel and Logan. In addition, there are nieces, nephews, a cousin, several other relatives and many friends. No prior visitation. Family and friends are invited to attend A Celebration of Life Gathering, Saturday, February 22, 2025 from 11-12 PM at the Batavia First United Methodist Church, 8221 Lewiston Rd., Batavia, NY where A Celebration of Life Service will take place at 12 Noon. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Sheri's memory to the Memorial Fund of the Batavia First United Methodist Church.
