MURPHY - Ryan Anthony Of Buffalo, NY, at age 42, passed away suddenly on June 10, 2022. Ryan was born in Watertown, NY, on April 4, 1980. He attended Watertown High School and earned his welding certificate. He is survived by his sisters, Renee Fletcher and Allison Morley; brother-in-law, Steven Morley; nieces, Amanda Ring, McKenzie Fletcher and Kiely Fletcher; a great-nephew and great-niece, along with many cousins, aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his parents, Angela Burns and Anthony Murphy. His closest friends called him, "Murph", "Murry" or "Murlong". He was hilariously funny, kind and generous. He would give a friend in need his last dollar. He was a hard worker and good at everything he tried. Ryan loved nature, especially fishing and animals of all kinds. He was a passionate fan of hard rock and heavy metal music, and attended concerts whenever he could. He knew every word and beat of a thousand songs and loved to sing along and play drums on the nearest available surface. Ryan was mechanically inclined and good at anything he tried. He loved to garden and make outdoor spaces look beautiful. He enjoyed cooking for friends and family. He was a loyal friend, brother and son. Ryan meant more to his family and friends than he could ever know. He will be sorely missed by those who loved him. No prior visitation. A Celebration of Life will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by: CASTIGLIA FUNERAL HOME, INC., (716) 824-6435, 873 Abbott Rd., South Buffalo, NY 14220.
