MARCHESON - Robert Zane "Bobby"April 7, 1955 - March 8, 2024Of Buffalo, NY, passed away Friday, March 8, 2024 at the Buffalo VA Medical Center, at age 68. Fondly known to many as Bobby, Mr. Marcheson was born to the late Joseph and Theresa (Lipincyk) Marcheson on April 7, 1955. He proudly served the United States Army as a Ham Radio Operator in Germany. Following his service, he worked at several companies in the Western New York region including Rodgard Corp. in Buffalo, NY, where he retired in 2013. On October 26, 1980 he married Marcia J. (Mondello) Marcheson. Together they had Valerie Marcheson (Shawn Richardson) of North Java, NY. As well as his late adopted daughter, Melissa Voigt (William Voigt) whom passed in 2001. Mr. Marcheson was a proud and supportive father and grandfather who was also known as "City Papa". Although he resided in the city, he was a country boy at heart. He is survived by his loving daughter, Valerie Marcheson (Shawn Richardson), grandson, Levi Robert Richardson, granddaughter, Nova Lynn Richardson, his ex-wife, Marcia J. Marcheson, son-in-law, William Voigt, grandsons, Ahren Voigt and Adam Voigt and granddaughter, Angel Voigt. Also survived by several great-grandchildren. In addition he is survived by his ex-girlfriend and loving friend of 34 years, Donna Wlosinski and her daughter, Randi Benson. No prior visitation. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
