Of Lackawanna, NY, passed away peacefully on August 10th, 2026 surrounded by the love and warm memories of his family. Bob never failed to make others laugh and always found humor in life. He loved golfing and the easy listenings of crooner musical artists such as Frank Sinatra. Above all he loved the ones close to his heart and never failed to show up for them in the most meaningful ways. You could always count on Bob for getting lost in his charismatic story telling or his classic one liner jokes. He is reunited with his late wife and love of his life, Rodna "Rose" (nee Stoyanovich) Banach. He is survived by many including his two sons Robert (Donna) Banach and Joseph (Mary) Banach; his grandchildren Katherine (Craig), Jon Eric (Catalina), Rachel, Victoria, Emma and Robyn Banach; his great-grandchildren Ayden and Malani. Bob was lifelong friends with David and Janet Colson. No prior visitation. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the convenience of the family.
