SIENER - Richard E. May 30, 1961 - July 14, 2025

Of Buffalo, NY. Beloved husband of Lynn A. (Keller) Siener; dearest father of Nicole M. Gozdalski, Christopher L. Ball, Melissa A. (David) Hriczak and Rachele E. Siener; grandfather of Brandon (Deondra) Gozdalski and Richard Gozdalski (Emma Hesch); great-grandfather of Aubree, Ariana, Kaiden, Kenzlee, and Madeline Gozdalski; loving son of the late John J. and Mary T. (Walters) Siener; brother of John "Jack" (Kathy) Siener, Beverly (late Michael) Ball, Dennis (Kathryn) Siener and the late Marybeth (late Clifford) Larivey and William "Billy" (Bobbie) Siener; also survived by many cherished nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life Gathering, Monday, July 21, 2025 from 4-8 PM at the CASTIGLIA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 873 Abbott Rd., South Buffalo, NY, 824-6435. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Charity Parish (St. Ambrose Worship Site), Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at 9:30 AM. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery immediately following.

Rick was hardworking and deeply loved his family and friends. He was a very handy mechanic, contractor and roofer. He always worked to take care of his family even in difficult times. Rick loved camping, listening to music, riding ATV's and watching NASCAR races. Most of all he loved spending time with his children, grandsons and great-grandchildren.

Rick was often a man of few words, but loved to joke and make sure all those around him were smiling. He expressed his intelligence and love through the work of his hands. We all called on him when our cars didn't sound right; he would show up, know what the problem was, and fix it.

Rick had a passion for classic cars, in particular his '57 Chevy. His restoration work on this car was woven in through the years in Rick's life in between work and spending time with family and friends. He was also an adventure seeker. Whether jumping off cliffs while on vacation with his wife Lynn, or riding ATV's with his grandsons through steep hills and mud; Rick loved to push the boundaries.

His love of life and generosity of spirit were a light that drew his family and friends together and will forever remain in our hearts.
