GIL VERA - Rene May 3, 1958 - May 27, 2025 Of Buffalo, NY, entered into rest on Tuesday May 27, 2025, after a long battle with cancer. Rene is survived by his five beloved children, Melody, Magdalena, Michele, Rene Jr. and Jada Gil. He leaves behind many cherished grandchildren, a great-granddaughter and many dear loved ones. He was blessed to be surrounded by family and friends in his final days. No prior visitation. Rene requested that a celebration filled with joy, good food, good spirits and his favorite salsa music be held to honor is life. His family intends to honor his request later this summer.
