SULLIVAN - Patrick Francis Of Williamsville, NY, May 5, 2022, at age 90. Beloved husband of the late Shirley R. (Herniman) Sullivan; dearest father of Patrick (Lisa), Michael (Jim), Mark (Emily), and David (Michelle) Sullivan; loving grandfather of Patrick Ryan and Stormy Sullivan; brother of Nelson, Robert and the late Dr. Michael A. (Shirley) Sullivan. Patrick was born in Lackawanna, NY, to Nelson P. and Mildred S. (Coggins) Sullivan. Patrick graduated from Our Lady of Victory Academy in Lackawanna, NY, in 1949. Patrick started working at Bethlehem Steel Co. where he was introduced to his future wife of 63 years, Shirley R. Herniman. He then served in the Korean War as Supply Sergeant in the U.S. Army. Patrick was commended for the best managed and most efficient supply room in the division. He then graduated from the State University of New York at Buffalo, before joining the Lackawanna Fire Department in 1969, and retiring in 1992. While working at both the railroad and the firehouse, Patrick opened "Sullivan's Gulf Service Station". Patrick was the definition of a family man, yet he was also blessed with an abundance of lifelong friends. No prior visitation.
