Beloved husband of the late Catherine (Lavelle) McCann; loving father of Colleen McCann (Ronald) Winter and the late Kevin McCann; cherished grandfather of Kris Winter; great-grandfather of four and great-great-grandfather of one; dear brother of the late Kathaleen Grobelny, James McCann, Mary Skipper Mount. Relatives and friends may call, Sunday, July 13, 2025 from 4-7 PM at the CUSACK FUNERAL HOME, 873 Abbott Rd., South Buffalo, NY (same location as the Castiglia Funeral Home, Inc.), (716) 828-1846, where a Prayer Service will be held Monday, July 14, 2025 at 9 AM and a Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 9:30 from St. Martin of Tours Church, 1140 Abbott Rd., South Buffalo, NY. Patrick was a member of the Buffalo Irish Center and senior golf league at the South Park Golf Club. Flowers are gratefully declined. In lieu of, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Buffalo Irish Center in memory of Patrick. Mr. McCann served his nation for 28 years in the Air Force as a Medical Material Superintendent (AFSC 91590). He entered the Air Force on May 8, 1960, retiring at the rank of Senior Master Sergeant on May 31, 1988. He was awarded several decorations for his service, most notably; Air Force Meritorious Service Medal, Air Force Good Conduct Medal w/8 Devices, Army Good Conduct Medal w/ 5 Devices, Air Force Longevity Service Ribbon and the Air Force Overseas Long Tour Ribbon w/2 Devices.
