OLEWINE - Mary Ann (nee Hitchings)May 4, 1943 - August 31, 2025Of Lackawanna, NY. Mary Ann was born in Altoona, PA, and passed away at the age of 82. As a young woman she moved to New York and worked caring for needs of others for OLV Hospital and the Catholic Health System until she retired. Mary enjoyed going to the casino, reading, bingo and crocheting. She is survived by her daughters, Roberta Hartman of Jamestown, NY, Tammy Shockley (Timothy) of Leavenworth, KS, and Lisa Martinez of Buffalo, NY; son, Miguel Rivera Jr. (Cindy) of Lackawanna, NY; companion of 15 years, Donnie; also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and many friends. Mary is preceded in death by her parents, many siblings and her son, George Olewine Sr. We are all stories in the end, remembered by the adventures we had, the achievements we made and the people we loved.
