MONACO - Judith Marie (nee Grzybek) Of Cheektowaga, NY, lovingly known to all as Judy, passed on the evening of October 1, 2024 after a beautifully lived life. The most loving, devoted, and amazing mother to Alicia Monaco and Liz Monaco; cherished sister of Paul (Cindy) Grzybek, Nancy (Gary) Szymkowiak, and David Grzybek; beloved aunt of nieces and nephews, and dear cousin to many; survived by Louis Monaco. She received her Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Medaille College in 2016, and served on the Board of Directors for Prevention Focus from 2010-2013. Through her employment at General Mills Corporation, she was an active volunteer for the Salvation Army, USS Little Rock, and the Sleep in Heavenly Peace organization, as well as an advocate for the Environmental Excellence committee. Judy lived each day to the fullest, turning ordinary moments into extraordinary occasions, and making special occasions unforgettable. We will honor her incredible life and the love she shared with others through a Celebration of Life Service on Monday, October 14, 2024, at 1pm; at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Amherst, 6320 Main St., Williamsville, NY 14221. Visitation 11am-12pm. We kindly request that you wear attire with yellow, her favorite color. Flowers or donations made in her honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Chasin' Tails Rescue are graciously accepted.
