PATTERSON - Jean C.T. (nee Trank)

October 17, 1932 - February 17, 2023

Jean C.T. Patterson, a lifelong local resident, died on Friday, February 17, 2023, at age 90.

Born on October 17, 1932, the daughter of the late Carleton and Ida Trank.Mrs. Patterson grew up in East Aurora and lived in the area her entire life. She graduated from East Aurora High School and raised a family in Holland.

She enjoyed foraging outdoors for wild foods and medicinal plants which contributed to her longevity.

Later in life, she took pleasure in delivering lunches to the elderly for Meals on Wheels with her friend and companion Ron Wittenrich.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Patterson was predeceased by her sisters, Patricia Haines and Donna Ward.

She is survived by her sister, Linda Manning; sons, James (Eloise) Patterson and Jeffrey (Elaine Evans) Patterson; daughter, Jill Kawczynski; grandchildren, James (Rebecca) Patterson and Meggan (Adam) Wakefield; great-granddaughters, Emily, Andrea, Penelope, and Clementine; and several nieces and nephews.

No prior visitation. As per Mrs. Patterson's wishes, a private service will be held at a later date.
