(Ventresca) Gallagher, of 57 years; dearest father of Jacqueline M. (Gallagher) O'Neill and Jennifer M. Gallagher; loving Papa of Emmett Gallagher, Owen Michael and Nina Rae O'Neill and Hayden Gallagher Keen; beloved son of the late Daniel and May (Wynn) Gallagher; son-in-law of the late Albert and Angela (Pirrone) Ventresca; brother of the late Peter (Jeanette) Gallagher, Mae (Clay) Osterman and Daniel (Dolores) Gallagher; brother-in-law of Albert (Assunta) Ventresca, Angela Ventresca (George) Seltzer and the late Vincenetta (Ventresca) O'Donnell; also survived by nieces and nephews; godfather of Sean Gallagher, Dr. Alicia Ventresca Miller, Robert O'Donnell, Lisa (Mustillo) Vary, Ellie (Gallagher) LoCascio and Thomas Buttino. James will be missed by many dear friends and neighbors. The family will be present Monday, March 14, 2022, from 4-7 PM for a Celebration of Life Gathering at the CASTIGLIA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 873 Abbott Rd., South Buffalo, NY, (716) 824-6435. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 450 Abbott Rd., South Buffalo, NY, Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at 9:30 AM. (Please assemble at church.) Mr. Gallagher was a graduate of Bishop Timon High School and Canisius College, a U.S. Army Veteran, a License Inspector for the City of Buffalo, a member of Msgr.
