WEBER - Hunter Stephen November 17, 1998 - July 17, 2025

Hunter Stephen Weber, age 26, of Lockport, New York, formerly of Kingston, Pennsylvania, passed away tragically on July 17, 2025, when a speeding vehicle crossed into his lane, striking him head-on.

Hunter graduated from Lockport High School in 2017 and went on to earn his Associate's degree in Applied Sciences from ECC North Campus. At the time of his passing, he was actively pursuing a degree in the field of Medical Research, with a focus on pathology. His passion for science and understanding the human body was matched by his drive and deep sense of purpose.

Hunter had a sharp mind and a thoughtful soul. He loved reading, exploring philosophy, going to the gym, riding his motorcycle, and playing video games. He was funny, independent, and deeply intelligent -- someone who approached life with curiosity and discipline. When something sparked his passion, he gave it his all. He was the kind of person who, once he set his mind to something, found a way to achieve it.

To those who knew him best, Hunter was caring, loyal, and quietly sentimental. He didn't judge people at face value -- he listened, paid attention, and stood by the people he loved. Nowhere was that more evident than in the relationship he shared with his mother, Julianne. Their bond was strong, filled with laughter, love, and deep understanding. Hunter had a playful side and always made it a point to check in, to make sure she was okay -- especially if he sensed she was down. He wouldn't leave the room until he got her smiling or laughing. He said "I love you" every single day, sometimes more than once. From birth, Hunter carried a beautiful, loving heart -- and at 26, that same heart remained, full of kindness and care. His absence is profound, and he is desperately missed.

Hunter is also survived by his life partner and soulmate, Avery Zygula, who was, in heart and spirit, his wife. From the moment their paths crossed, they shared a rare and powerful connection -- one that defied time, distance, and difficulty. Though life brought its share of struggles, their bond never broke. They found their way back to each other, time and again, with love, honesty, and hope for the future. Their lives were interlinked in a way that neither time nor circumstance could undo. Avery was not only someone Hunter loved, but someone he chose, continually, with his whole heart.

Hunter will be remembered for his kind heart, his strength of will, and the incredible potential he carried -- a future cut tragically short, but a life that left a deep and lasting mark on those who loved him.
