INGRAM - Gregory "Pompey" (August 28, 1961 - September 9, 2024) Of Buffalo, NY. Gregory Ingram was the first child of Mitchell and Doris Jean (Millender) Ingram. Greg (Pompey) was truly a man who could sing the song "I did it my way!" From a young age he dressed to impress every day and not surprisingly carried a briefcase. The "Dapper Dan," a friend said "I never saw Greg in a pair of sneakers!"

He was a man of many talents. He accepted an academic and athletic scholarship to Canisius High School. He was an honor roll student who excelled and lettered in cross-country, track and field, hockey, football and basketball. He inherited his barber skills from his grandfather, Willie Lee. He never met a stranger. Anybody who knows him will tell you he inherited that wonderful gift of gab from his mom, Doris Jean.

Greg loved a good time. He was outgoing, fun-loving and gregarious! He always put you at ease and saw the good in everyone.

He gave his life to Jesus before many in his circle. When he joined Open Door Number 4 he was a faithful member and so excited to be saved that he shared his faith with everybody. Gregory went home peacefully on September 9th, 2024.

He's loved and survived by his children, Gregory Aljamar (Danika Nycole) and Chanel; his beautiful grandchildren, Armani, Ayanna, Nycholas and Angyl; his fabulous sister, Sherry; their brother, Dwight; an Uncle, Ronald (Marilyn) Millender; an Aunt, Patricia (Donald) Terrell; and a host of cousins, loved ones and friends.
