HYRICK - Elza C. (nee Zorich) Of South Buffalo, NY, December 23, 2022, at age 93. Dearest mother of Marie L. (Larry) Cobado and Joni G. Hyrick; predeceased by sisters, Anna (Reynold) Ugolini, Rose (Michael) Maxwell, Kathryn (George) Bak, Helen (Daniel) Fodor and Wilma (Robert) Freeman, and brothers, Jack (Sylvia) and Ted (Patricia) Zorich; also survived by nieces and nephews. Elza taught and was an Assistant Principal in the Buffalo Public School system for 29 years. She loved music, and played paino by ear. Elza was very talented with the visual arts. She painted, and was an award-winning photographer. Elza was an avid golfer and belonged to the Gowanda Country Club. In her younger years, she enjoyed traveling, hiking and square dancing.
