Elvera "Vera" Cappellano died 6/5/2024 at Buffalo General Hospital. Vera was born 8/7/1942 in Niagara Falls NY to the late Raniere and Luigina DeSimone. She was a graduate of Niagara Falls High School and the Kelley Business Institute. On 7/5/1965 she married the late Nicholas A Zinni at Mount Carmel Church in Niagara Falls NY. In her younger years, Vera worked at Niagara Falls Memorial Hospital, Thruway Fasteners and Our Lady of Victory Hospital. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She loved football and was a die-hard fan of the Buffalo Bills. Most of all she cherished the time spent with her daughter, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Vera is survived by her daughter, Joanne Thorn, her grandson Christopher (Leah) Thorn and her Great Grandchildren. Private services were held by the family.
