SCHWARTZOTT - Elizabeth Jane (nee Shannon) Of Hamburg, NY. Entered into eternal peace at home surrounded by her loving family on August 19, 2022. Jane was born in Brooklyn, NY and moved to Buffalo, NY at an early age. Before marrying her husband of 58 years (Norton), she was employed in the mortgage department at M&T Bank. She left her career and devoted herself to raising a family. She was an avid patron of the arts, serving as a docent at the Albright-Knox Art Gallery for many years. She enjoyed concerts at ArtPark, Shakespeare in the Park, rummage sales, reading, and rides in the countryside. In addition to her husband Norton, her family includes three daughters, Amy Schwartzott Munguambe (Makolwa), Polly Gates, and Heidi Schwartzott Wilson; and three grandchildren, Charlie, Jacob, and Carter. No prior visitation. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at SS Peter & Paul Church, 66 East Main St., Hamburg, NY, Thursday, August 25, 2022 at 10 am.
