It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Anthony J. "Tony" Susi of Lackawanna, New York, the son of the late Albert "Milky" and Virginia Makeyenko nee Susi. Tony passed away on October 27, 2024, leaving many family and friends to mourn.

He leaves behind his spouse, Janet Susi; his children, Jesse Susi, Vincent Cherry, Peter Keane (Jenn), and Rebecca Keane; his grandchildren, Chandler, Justice, Loralei, Emma, Brennen, and Brody; his brothers and sisters, Kathleen (Richard) Walters, Thomas (Doris) Makeyenko, Lynn (Brian) Illg, John (Sissy) Makeyenko, and Julie (Dominic) Fulciniti; his nephews and nieces, Jason (Rosie), Amber, Elizabeth (Christopher), Jonathan, Kiel (Brandy), Ashley (Colin), Leanne (Jake), Johnny, Vito, Gianluca, Dominic, Addison, Avery, Evelyn, Mannix, Amelia, Ben, Jameson, Kinsley, Remi, and Walker; his aunts, Theresa Gemmati & Mary Violanti and the late Uncle James Susi; along with many cousins and friends.

Tony was a Doctor of Mechanics, a car enthusiast both fixing and driving. He was a lover of music and restoring guitars. He retired from Verizon after many years of service to the customers of WNY and continued his legacy in a small garage where he truly found peace everyday. His strength and resilience emulated what life is all about. Never to give up, never to complain and always keep his faith. He loved life.

No prior visitation. Inurnment will take place Thursday, November 7, 2024 at 11 AM at Holy Cross Cemetery, 2900 South Park Ave., Lackawanna, NY. Please meet at the cemetery office at 10:45 AM.
