KORBEL - Florian S. Of Cheektowaga, NY, passed away peacefully at age 91, on August 5, 2017. Beloved husband of Jeanette L. (Bateman) Korbel for 69 years; loving father of Leroy A. and the late Peter A. (Lynda), Christopher A. (Valerie) and Anthony R. (late Diane) Korbel; dear grandfather of Jennifer (Dwayne) Romine, Jamie Korbel (Michael), Anthony (Tracy) Korbel, Leigh Korbel, David Korbel (Julie) and Krystal Korbel (William); also survived by six great-grandchildren; special dad to Linda Wolentarski and Debby Szafranski; also survived by nieces and nephews. No prior visitation. Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass at St. Bernard's Church, 1988 Clinton St., Buffalo, Monday morning at 10. Interment St. Matthew's Cemetery Field of Valor. All Invited. Mr. Korbel was a proud U.S. Navy veteran of WWII, a member of the Sloan Senior Citizens and William Street Taxpayers Association.
